Religious Instruction

Adult Classes
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a religious education process for adults who wish to join the Catholic Church, as well as for baptized Catholics who wish to receive the sacraments of Confirmation, Reconciliation/Penance and Holy Eucharist. Candidates typically will be in the process for a full year before receiving their sacraments. Classes meet year-round, and interested adults may join at any time. Classes meet weekly in the Parish Center on Sunday afternoons following the 12:15 Mass (monthly during the summer). To register, call 201-659-1772.

Children’s Classes
Children in Grades 1-8 attend the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) classes in the Parish Center on Sunday mornings following the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Parents are encouraged to attend the Mass with their children. Two years of instruction are required prior to receiving First Communion and Confirmation. Classes are held weekly September through June. To register, call 201-659-1772.
