Additional Masses are scheduled at St. Francis to observe Holy Days of Obligation.

The following Holy Days are observed in the United States
The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, January 1
Ascension of Our Lord, 40 days after Easter
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, August 15
All Souls Day, November 1
Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8
Christmas, December 25

St. Francis Church celebrates its patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi, with a novena leading up to his feast day on October 4. On that day, a special Mass includes the Blessing of the Animals and is followed by a procession through the neighborhood with the statue of St. Francis.

Novenas and processions are also held in honor of St. Anthony (June 14) the Madonna de Martiri in early September.
