The Feast of St. Francis is an exciting week at our Parish – especially during this Jubilee Year. As part of the week we celebrated Fr. Michael’s birthday on Oct. 3 at Mass and with a Food Drive in his honor at ACME. We collected more than 130 bags of non-perishable items with the help of 16 volunteers all to benefit the Fr. Michael Food Pantry. On Sunday during the 6 PM Mass, people and their pets filled the church with standnig room only for mass and the Blessing of the Animals. Also on Oct. 4 we revealed our new St. Carlo statue in honor of Mary Knapp at the 9:30 Mass. St. Carlo was canonized in 2025 and lies in rest in Assisi. On Wednesday, we hosted a Trivia Night where Trustee Angelo Valente quizzed participants on some intriguing questions and surprising answers on the life of St. Francis.
