St. Francis Feast Day

The Feast of St. Francis is an exciting week at our Parish. The celebration started with the Triduum on Tuesday, Oct. 2. We followed with the birthday mass for Fr. Michael on Wednesday, when the parish unveiled a beautiful tribute to him and his commitment to our parish family. The mass was filled with light moments and beautiful memories, as well as the ongoing support of the Guglielmelli family.

We were especially thankful to hear from Helen, who continues her miraculous recovery to this day. May we continue to keep her and her family in our prayers. Following the mass, we celebrated with cake and coffee in the community room.

On The Feast Day of St. Francis, Oct. 4, we hosted dozens of families with their pets, who were blessed inside the church before taking part in the St. Francis procession of pets and their people around the block. We also announced the winner of the Super 50/50 with winning ticket number 007. Thanks to everyone for their continued support of St. Francis.

Don’t forget that October is the Month of the Rosary.

Also, we will celebrate and honor active parishioners of our church who help to make St. Francis so special with the Faithful Followers Dinner on Sunday, Oct. 28 at La Reggia in Secaucus, NJ. Please stop in to the rectory to purchase your tickets today.
